"River Thames on Red Boards Monday 8 September 2008 until further notice Update 08/09/2008 - The River Thames is still showing 'Red Boards' advising boaters that they are not able to enter onto the River Thames from the Oxford Canal. Nell Bridge to Aynho Weir Lock is also showing 'Red Boards' advising boaters of extremely high water levels. Aynho Weir Lock to Shipton Weir is still passable but please be aware that the water levels are very high. For further updates regarding water levels for boaters entering the River Thames please contact the Environment Agency on 08708 506506."
