I don't know whether you have seen this from BW, Steve: from Waterscape.com to me 14:50 (17 hours ago) Stourbridge Top Lock to Stourton Junction Sunday 7 September 2008 until further notice The canal has breached east of Middle Bridge and is effectively closed until further notice between Stourbridge Top Lock to Stourton Junction. A further update regarding timescales and the situation will be posted by Friday 12th September 2008. The towpath is also closed for the forseeable future. British Waterways staff are on site assessing the damage.This Web site will be updated as more news becomes available. British Waterways apologises for any inconvenience caused.
