I could have done better with a crow bar and a small flat metal sheet
on my own! Using the crowbar lift the stern near the edge of the
water, and lauch sideways. Watch the big splash, and see her bob up
without any water ingress!

They were obviously from a company (all dressed the same, and boat was
coloured the same), so which bunch of cowboys were they (for future
reference, in order to avoid at all cost).

No life jackets, poor comunication between them (one had to jump on
the unsecured boat to stop the workboat crew from making matters
worse), no one person in obvious charge...

BW should stop them working on the waterways completely - I'd like to
see the method statement!

Anyway, thats my towpence worth. My Dad and I nearly tried to save a
boat in Pershore after the floods, we were worried it might sink after
the waters went down, but then we might have been liable for damages
if our rescue wasn't successful. We know enough to leave well alone,
these muppets didn't even know that much!
