You do not say how you were trying to send the emails but it is not at all unusual for you to have to be connected to the servers of your ISP to send messages. This would not happen when you are connected via a 3-dongle. Your ISP might have a webpage from which you can send emails. There are various other alternatives; I post via Googlemail even though my ISP is virginmedia. In general, you need to find a web-based method of posting. -- Bob
