Beware of moorings on line at the Sprinch (Bridgewater Motor Boat Club)
 
When horse-boat Maria was left there in 2005 the local kids completely
wrecked her cabin side with stones thrown from the towing path. 
 
NOT BMBC's fault, I hasten to add, nevertheless, if going there:
 
1)    try and organise a mooring down one of the arms
 
2)    If you can't, ensure all windows / portholes facing the towing path
are covered while the boat's there
