Oh Yes It Does!

It was the only way I could single-man Rumpus (24') - going uphill I
had to tuck the windlass in my belt and make a grab for the lock
ladder with the centre rope in my teeth as the ladder went past, then
let her find her own way up to the cill / top gate. On the T&M, with
the draw these locks have, it's the only way as the boat is already
nudging the top end before the flow of water into the lock picks up
the boat and bodily THROWS you there!
