I boated with Mike several times - due to a mutual interest in SNB
President.

Mike offered the use of Brunel as crew boat, and I helped move one of
his boats, Stanier etc to position for a trip with the steamer.

We took Brunel and Stanier from St Katherines, up the Thames to
Oxford, and then up the Oxford, GU & North Stratford to their mooring
at Brum boats in Birmingham.

On another occasion - very roughly about 1989 ??? - three of us took
Brunel and Stanier on a Christmas / New year cruise from Brum to
Middlewich and spent New years Eve at Audlem, before getting up at
about 6am on New years Day !!! - to go up Audlem flight to get back to
Brum on the 2nd !!.

I'm struggling to remember the name of the third crew member - but he
worked for Ford's as an automotive engineer - and at the time was in
his early 20's ???.
