Thanks to every one for this info. This one in Manchester looks like my best 
option as We'll be boating that way on the way home back to the Land L.

While we are looking for clothing that isn't available now any one know
where I can get a good old fashioned Donkey Jacket?

Plenty on eBay and I got one from New Cross Army Surplus in Tib Street,
Manchester http://www.military kit.com/ - About £40, no nasty plastic bits on
the outside. Seriously snug on a cold day
