Over the weekend I watched ''The Importance of Being Albert'' that a friend has
given me. I missed it both times that it was transmitted by the BBC, so I was
glad to fill in the gap as it were.
I remember Albert as a 'Silver Service' floating restaurant several years ago
when it was moored @ Ricky. It was possible to hire as a static or moving
dining experience. Indeed, the patch of grass between the locks of the River
Chess & the Grand Union was eponymously known as 'Albert's Garden'
Albert has been conspicuous by its absence for several years
now--any clues anyone as to its whereabouts & its current activities?
