Yes, your right, another example. I also know of another, an old guy who was boating in France in his home-built craft that was reckoned by most people to be completely un-seaworthy and who collapsed with heart problems while using a lock. The French VNF looked after his boat while he was repatriated to the UK for medical follow up treatment and then handed it over to him on his return. Doesn't sound like single handing regulation is enforced in this instance. Roger
