Can anyone quantify the number of continious cruisers? I believe they perform a
valuble service by keeping the waterways used in the quiet times. They are able
to highlight problems before thay become a major item. Indeed at one time BW
maintained a loaded narrowboat to be taken round the system, by volunteers from
boat clubsin the winter months, for just such a purpose. CKP
