Six boat crews met up in the French Horn, Alton, last night for a festive-o-GiG. A first class meal was accompanied by quality ales and much discussion about this years cruising and our plans for next year etc, etc. The festive atmosphere was enhanced by the provision of mini pyrotechnics and paper hats as well as an abundant supply of inflate them youself balloons. The atmosphere soon degenerated into an exhibition of flying, wailing balloon missiles accompanied by pathetic attemps at balloon modelling with limited success.
