I bowed out as my job is done. I was hardly likely to be "pushed" now that there is a Chairman of the Trustee Board who should have a moderating influence on the internal strife that has befallen the IWA over the past 2 years. You can read what you like into that. I leave the Trustee Board with the IWA being back to being a more campaigning organisation, with a good man as their Campaign Co-ordinator (Jo Gilbertson). It is pointless me staying on for my final year as Trustee (I am one that believes that Trustees should not serve more that two 3 year terms without a break), as I am not one to miss meetings. I would have missed at least 3 on the trot, due to other commitments. You may have noticed that by TNC standards I am now rather "out of it" concerning boating in England and Wales (a bit like you really). I am not going to say any more on the matter. -- Neil Arlidge - NB Earnest Follow the travels of TNCI, now in Ireland http://www.tuesdaynightclub.co.uk/tour.html
