My son rescued a 75amp leisure battery,of inderterminate age, incorrectly
disposed of by BW into a building waste skip. Following its rehabilitation with
an OPTIMATE 3 ( see ebay) it gave me 4 years of useful service, I have use an
Optimate permanently connected to my batteries during the winter months for
several years with complete satisfactition.Originally sold for winter storage
of motorbikes I checked with the manufacturer who said it would happily work
with larger batteries as found on boats.CKP
