It was Martin that passed the information to me. I passed it on to my
list of contacts that are interested in what is happening in the EU
(that list includes the DBA). I had a conversation with a Dutch member
of the DBA and mentioned it to him and passed on the information to him.
He then posted it to the DBA email list as the DBA did not appear to be
interested when I sent it to them.
The Dutch recreational boating industry has been consulted and are keen
for the scheme to be implemented as far as I can make out. The
organisations representing pleasure boat owners have not commented yet.
