OK, back on the paranoia theme, has anyone who is NOT a CC had one of
these? Bear in mind that this is (allegedly) a random sample in the
NATIONAL boat survey, not a survey of continuous cruising habits.

As Ownerships boats are privately owned (even though the Ownerships management
organisation deals with maintenance, etc, and keeping track of which owner is
having the boat, and when), one of each boat's owners is nominated to pay the
expenses (particularly the licence) and is reimbursed from the sinking fund
that all that boat's owners pay into.

As these boats are out for a large proportion of the time, they are not usually
to be found at the moorings - and the nominated owner does not usually know
precisely where the boat was at that time because the boat is out with another
owner.
