Good Morning everybody,
I am in my local library in South Ruislip, [where all messages from the canals
list, but *no* others appear in a strange font! This has been happening since
the URL problem first occurred last week.]
I really do appreciate all efforts to help me out of the electronic mire.
Now it's been established just *how* I read these e-mails I hope that Bob can
solve the issues. Looking this morning @ the suggestions & points that have
been brought up I categorically state that #1 It's not down to the library, I
use computers in various libraries within Hillingdon borough & the problems are
present in all the ones I've used so far! [Having said that, the strange font
seems to be peculiar to South Ruislip]
#2 Although I happen to be left handed, I adopt a right handed stance when
holding a cricket bat, holding a knife & fork or using a computer mouse. I have
trouble when holding a gun [:-))] because the safety catch is on the wrong
side, tube station touch out pads are on the wrong side, & playing cards,
scissors etc.etc. are built for right handers.
This morning I tried to 'reply' to a message & got a blank screen, I tried to
'forward' a message & got a blank screen. Changing from the Yahoo Classic [i.e.
the old tried & tested setting] to the new, improved [huh] setting enabled
these functions to work as I would have expected. I am sure that it's a plot on
behalf of Yahoo to get everybody on the new settings.
I feel like the woman in the market who was taken to court for selling goods in
Imperial Measure rather than metric. It reminds me of the time I was driving my
fire engine towards a bridge with a 10' 6'' height notice attached & the
embossed notice in the drivers cab stated that 'This vehicle is 3,300 mm tall!!

Nb yahoo-I s**tit!
