I would be reluctant to blame OE - even though it's made by MS...
I use OE for this group all the time, and it virtually always works.  I 
would suspect the problem is more remote (i.e somewhere after OE has sent it 
on).  The fact that you can post on the web means your Yahoo account is OK, 
so I would plump for Yahoo blocking your ISP.  That's a tricky one to avoid, 
since normally one only has one SNTP address.  But first you do need to 
check that
1. Yahoo has your correct e-mail address (that's what you have in your 
"from" box - which may or may not be your real e-mail address - you're not 
using a munged address by any chance, that Yahoo can't post to....)
2. Go to http://groups.yahoo.com/member/preferences/email/view and check the 
bounce history
I don't suppose you have a domain, but if you did you could post through 
that server.
