Planning Permission: Inland Waterways Miss McIntosh: To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government if she will issue planning guidelines relating to residential moorings; and if she will make a statement. [253074] Mr. Iain Wright: We have no current plans to issue planning guidelines for residential moorings. Planning decisions on the provision of residential moorings are better taken locally after careful consideration of local circumstances, having regard to any relevant policies in the local development plan.
