For a defintive answer one would have to ask BW but (having been through the tunnel) I can state with certainty that it has many yards of unfinished sides of bare rock and is nothing like the brick (or other material lined) tunnels we see elsewhere and would very definitely not be GRP friendly. The tunnel is also so narrow that to put rubbing boards in would seriously reduce the navigable width. Allowing that the chances of incident with petrol engines is slight I would still prefer not to be in there at the same time as several gallons of petrol. John
