Exactly - AIUI, such a regime would require a 50/50 declaration, as
you are using the engine for both purposes at once. It's going to be
interesting to see if HMRC can be bothered to pursue a few high
profile cases amongst us. I suspect not, personally, the lost revenue
just isn't worth it.
Compare our situation to someone running a TSDY out of the Hamble,
say, at 1,000 lph. Now if he's declaring 60/40, there might be
something worth going for.
