Same applies to the River Weaver. The Lockies at Vale Royal have two 
"tame" herons they are proud to brag about - one at each end of the 
lock. On the way up to Winsford they are regular visitors and we watched 
them fishing opposite the beautiful Vale Royal moorings, where  they
