Dave Are you suggesting that we would only clear the tow path for special events. Shame on you. The volunteers are out every week keeping the canal in good condition. After all it is the only canal in the country run by volunteers. If any one would like to help they should contact Essex Waterways I'm certain they can find you some work even if it is only cutting the grass on the tow-path.
