Saturday 23rd May 2009 We pulled the pins at 9 am and headed for Marsworth top lock. We shaqred the whole flight and locks to Seabrook with Jarrah, a fellow member of Aylesbury canal society. We also met Peter from nb Ghecko several times on the Marsworth flight as he made his way from Bulbourne down to the Marsworth sani-station and back again. We moored for the night at the Globe Inn having completed the rest of the locks solo and stopping in Leighton Buzzard for a quick trip to Aldi. After an excellent steak in the Globe Inn Brenda decided to follow the Greensands walk, that starts from bridge 111, which took us through water meadow and oak woods to the outskirts of Leighton Buzzard and back onto th canal towpath via Riverside walk.
