Reported tonight on the local press website: FIRE crews are tackling a blaze at a boat yard in the city.
Crews from Burslem, Hanley, Newcastle, Kidsgrove and Longton were called out at 4.45pm to a fire on Longport Boat Yard on Station Street in Longport, Burslem. The incident involves the ground floor and first floor of a building which is well alight.
