Looks like it's that time again-- time to rap knuckles and take names
for excessive quoting.  There has been a flood of excessive quoting of 
previous messages going on lately.

Have some sympathy for those on slow connections, and for the digest
readers, who must scroll past copy after copy after copy of the
quoted material.

The advice from the "Netiquette" for this list says to "Quote as little 
as possible from previous messages.  Quote just enough for context."

A good rule of thumb is that you generally should not quote much more than 
the length of your reply. For instance, if your reply is 3 lines, you 
should think seriously as to whether you need to quote more than 3 or 4 
lines of the message to which you are replying."

mostly everyone's been doing just fine on all the other items listed there,
so there's no need to read the rest unless you're curious.
