Agreed, single-handing Bream is a lot easier than my Mum's 45 footer. All that messing around with ropes and the like! Actually that reminds me of something I was going to comment on about the Llangollen - how very considerate of BW to put bollards on the off-side at every lift bridge to help us single-handers :) Any chance of extending this to the rest of the system? I believe that there are loads of unused ones next to narrow locks that could be recycled if the budget is a bit tight.
