Jannock always slows down for fishermen (as long as we are able to spot them
from afar) but if they shout to tell Brenda she is going too fast she proves
she isn't by opening the throttle for a few seconds just to trash their peg.

My first boat Ampersand & I were taking a trip to the General Elliot in
Uxbridge, along with a prickly[to say the least] Scottish friend who didn't
suffer fools gladly.
Relinquishing control of the tiller, I stepped inside the cabin to get
something & by a sudden burst of speed was nearly thrown to the floor.
Regaining the stern I found my friend muttering dark curses.
Apparently, as he went past a moored boat there was a sarcastic enquiry ''Can
you go any faster?''
The reply was, ''Aye, watch this!!!!!''
