We are planning to navigate the Leicester ring, clockwise from Fradley Junction, starting on Friday.
Is anyone able to give us a update regarding the states of the rivers Trent and soar please Malcolm I went down the Soar Tuesday / Wednesday and it was well in the green (normal levels); the Trent to Sawley was supposedly slightly up but the only problem was the Canaltime instructor (not Brian!) at Sawley flood lock who was making a thorough nuisance of himself. However the Soar especially is notorious for its rapid changes in level so I'd place more reliance on the weather forecast! Sean [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
