Hi Julian,
An oddly ominous prediction.
Why do you think it'll be closed by 2014? Locks condition? Silting up? Water
supply?
At a three thousand mile remove and an eleven month gap betwixt trips it hard
to have a "feel" for things canalish.
So ................. here we are, likely to book for "June" sometime in
October. We've done much of the system over a 12 yr period so are planning on a
"repeat" of any one of the trips we've enjoyed before. The K & A was a
favourite but we still open to other trips.
