Some of the information on their web site is a bit dated - at least 2 of the
recommended pubs [The Beehive and the Somerset Arms] have ceased trading - but
it seems basically sound.
No reason not to plan your trip!

Sad to hear that The Beehive has closed. We went there on recommendation a few
years ago with the warning that we *must* be there before 19:00 to gain
admission bang on the dot. It was freezing cold [in March] & we could see the
tables being prepared through the window. No way were the bolts going to be
drawn before time.
In on the dot, food ordered & table secured---by 19:06 there wasn't a place to
be had!
After a magnificent meal the whole pub clientèle played Jenga--a game I'd never
seen before with a set of blocks the size of house bricks!
