Thought I'd share this one as it is a full day closure on the Shroppie tomorrow and no-one else has mentioned it:
-------- Original Message -------- Due to a leak at the bottom of the Shebdon Embankment the canal will be closed between bridge 44 Shebdon Bridge and bridge 48 Park Heath Bridge from 6.30pm Thursday 13th August and 7pm Friday 14th August. This is to allow dewatering in order to undertake investigation and repair works. Further updates will follow. Towpaths will remain open.
