There is a government/council course for everything now. Even doing the simplest evertday task may earn you a certificate. The course below and hundreds of other courses are available for youth to make them feel... Some don't even realise they are being assessed until a certificate drops through their door.
The one below is for going on a narrowboat... http://store.aqa.org.uk/qual/uas/units/pdf/89750.PDF Others are for going on a bus, going on a train, drying the washing up, taking off/putting on cloths and there are hundred more. These courses are aimed at all youth no matter what they have up there etc. so some find that they are given certs for doing something they do every day. One passers brother failed the going on a bus course for reasons unknown. Having realised these certs are handed out willy nilly why haven't I been given one for boating!
