The idea of putting all that unfiltered c...@p through the finely engineered diesel pump and injection system of a JP beggars belief Steve. If you just fancy a bit of alternative fuelling pour in a couple of litres of garlic infused extra virgin olive oil. That might enhance the exhaust aroma.
Beeky I have a agglomerator (I think that's what it's called - a filter nowl with no filter) and a Y-filter which collect a fair amount of water, slime etc. and I clean the burner spreader every hour or so to get off the non-burnable stuff (which I suspect is mostly bits of metal etc.).
