If I remember correctly, he arranged with the Rising Sun pub -- a mere five minutes walk from the canal--to leave one car there, having already left the other car at the Corner House Hotel, near Bridge 5. The stay was, I believe, just over the weekend, from Friday night to Sunday night. the nosh was pretty good at both pubs. Rising Sun's phone no. (from Nicholson's) is 01827 880215.
