It was nice to put a face to the name (and to yours and Iain's ;-) as we drove out of the marina.
Regards Ann nb Margarita It was good to meet you too, Ann. As you say, it is good to put faces to names we "meet" on the internet. Forgive us if we were a little distracted when you spoke to us. Unusually things had not gone well with the retrieval and we were perhaps not as relaxed as we usually are when boating :-) I was quite chuffed when we launched gamebird a couple of weeks earlier at the comments of another boater. Gamebird had slid nicely off the trailer and was all tied up getting ready to cruise. I was sorting things out while Iain parked up the Landy and trailer when 3 (presumably) boaters wandered over to the slipway. We chatted away as I carried on with what I was doing and I was chuffed to bits when one of them said that she looked like a new boat. As gamebird is 11 years old that made my day. Ann
