Images of the new Lyneen Bridge can be seen on my Royal Restoration page:

The road dropped beside the old Lyneen Bridge was the last obstacle to
navigation on the Shannon side of the Royal Canal, the canal is now
substantially complete.
The only outstanding problems are water supply, checking relined sections,
some spot dredging and the fixed Sheriff Street lift bridge at the end of
Spencer Harbour in Dublin. As it stands boats can get under this if the dock
level is lowered. (this was the opertaion procedure when the canal was
initialy re-opened at the Dublin end)
