I have been amazed by the scale of response to my remarks about a future excursion in the Manchester area including the MSC. Almost 40 folk have expressed interest and I have set up the google group as a forum for the topic. Hopefully I have captured all the appropriate email addresses, I know the process has begun to work because some folk have already arrived on that list.
If anybody who expressed an interest has been missed . . . . please hollar. It's not a deliberate oversight, it's an admin deficiency Anyone who wants to clamber aboard is welcome, just let me know. I will nudge a reminder on the general groups from time to time but I don't want to clog up the other forums and/or XP forever. Don't expect much activity on the MSC group in the near future. There is plenty of time and I need to explore the options and specifics with the MSC authorities and work out some guidelines and estimated costs. I envisage a number of routing options for the trip and it's quite likely there will be more than one start point and maybe more than one finish point, with the assembled fleet traversing the MSC en masse, over a couple of days. We can move on to timing options later. And of course insurance requirements, risks, liability and all that good stuff. Beeky
