Be warned that there are very few visitor moorings available in Stone
this weekend. The BCF appear to be having a rally, and have taken all
(and I mean all) the VMs below Star Lock. We've just tied on the last
bit of mooring above the top lock, opposite Roger Fuller's yard.
If coming north, moor as soon as you find the end of the boats on the
towpath by the fields before the Welcome to Stone sign.
If coming south, there was the disabled shopping mooring free between
Yard and Star, and I guess there may be some movement off the two VM
spaces there, and down from where we are during the day.
