Clicking the Compatibilty View button in IE8 makes all the bits of the Old Maps webpage sit back in their correct places. It's just a pity they started putting watermarks all over the free maps - I have spent many happy evenings capturing maps of my local area screen by screen and stitching them together.
I also like capturing the 1:25000 OS maps from streetmap.co.uk - if you change the dpi of the resulting image to 253, it will print out at the correct scale. Chris Hulin [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
