Hi!
I think this is up to the Patrol Officer for the Area.

For instance, between Milton Keynes to around the Watford area, (Not certain
where the cut-off point is), a system of 5 mooring points is preferred. The
distance varies and is not dependant on "Parishes". AFAIK. As long as one
cruises for a "Reasonable" distance, say 30 minutes or so, Patrol Officer J.
Ling, (The above area), is satisfied.

I have had a couple of instances, for a variety of reasons, that I have had to
overstay for up to a month or so. I have advised BW in advance and I have
always been accomodated. Personally I find them quite understanding, as long
as you don't take advantage all the time. BW Officials are quite aware that
one has to stay within a reasonable distance of one's workplace. #### At least,
that is my personal view of the present situation.

I have heard that Marsworth workshop and stores are closing down. This is
unconfirmed. Lots of changes about to take place! ~Allan~

PS: IT is the Mooring Warden(s) that vary so much - Some get to know the
boaters and "Request" or "Discuss" any issues, whislt others thake a more of a
"Gestapo" (Do what I instruct) attutude. If I feel that I am being
unreasoinably pressured, I tell the person to go away and that their job is to
observe and report, not to hassle the boaters!
