This is exactly what George said to me when I approached him about whether I
could be allowed to mention *Narrowboat Dreams* (Published by Summersdale at
£7.99, avaiilable online, at all good bookshops or signed, directly from the
author). He said, 'I think people would like to be told about this.'

However, he is in a position to decided what the 'majority' might or might
not like to be told. Leave that decision to anyone with a product to sell
and anarchy will result.

Simple, eh? Ask George. That has been the rule thus far. That is why I am
asking whether that rule has changed. Whether Laurence put his subject
heading in capitals or not seems neither here not there to me, but no doubt
you'll enlighten me as to why this threatens the very nature of the list
which I believe unapproved advertising would do.

Steve
