Yeah, I'm not quite as cheerful atm as usual - must be the approaching
bus pass day.
There's certainly not a lot of water in the UPF this week, but I don't
seriously think that's going to lead to open war between the residents
of West Derbyshire and East Cheshire; maybe they should reinstate the
stop lock at Marple

I've just been struck by the accounts of most of the world's major
river systems (like the Yangtse and the Mississippi/Missouri) being
seriously depleted already.
I know, I'll just pour myself another glass of this McGuigan's Black
Label, that'll help...
