Firefly was up for sale by one of the yards around Calcutt in around 1996, we were interested in buying her at the time. The steam plant had been taken out and replaced with an SR4 (I think) - anyway, a big air-cooled Lister. Still very much a hire boat in internal fit-out then, but she was nicely shaped with a big prow. She was up for sale with WFB for quite a long time afterwards.
