Martin, my old mucker, it is time for a holiday. It was a joke, see. Not the best joke in the world, I agree, but a little light banter to brighten the leaden day. No, I was not suggesting, that it is not worth signing the petition. I was suggesting that it wouldn't be worth it if it had been signed by the bone fide, genuine Prime Minister, The Right Hon Gpordon Brown. But no, I was not suggesting that the Prime Minister actually HAD signed it, or that somebody named Gordon Brown couldn't sign it if he wanted, or indeed that anyone with any name couldn't sign it, merely that ....
