There's a very good chance that the Barge Canal will be open by then from Droitwich to the Severn, but it's looking rather unlikely that the Junction Canal from Droitwich to the W&B will be open. This is due to the proposed funding for the Salwarpe section above Droiwich town centre (which would have been canalised as part of a waterside housing development) having fallen through as a result of the housing developers pulling out.
