Well, bit of a mixture in truth 'cos we've hired a Moody 28 on the Caledonian for a week next year It's kind've a trial run - I used to sail a lot in my teens and I've fancied getting back to it for quite a while now so this is a gentle(ish) way back (no tides, no big seas ... although Ness can get quite choppy I'm told) If we enjoy it then we we'll probably try something a bit more ambitious the following year and if we're still up for it then we may well buy summat small and handy. You can pick up a nice little 20-odd footer in good order for just a few grand and that'd do us nicely.
