Since you ask David, I will tell you. It is because over the years years I have been on this list I have to endure Adrian making cruel and heartless comments about a member whose house had been badly flooded. I have had to put up with him bullying two members, which I brought to George's attention but which could not be taken further because those involved were embarrassed about it and didn't want to proceed. In addition I've had to bite my tongue while he advanced apparently objective arguments on the moorings auction scheme at the same time he was pitching to run it. Moreover I have had to bear a weekly witness to him patronising contributors, purposely confusing issues, misrepresenting the views of others, and last - but by no means least - advancing himself with BW and others as a spokesman for the list.
