They obviously had some outside a shop in the Midlands where the camera crew 
recorded a series of people walking along the pavement round one of those 
pavement shop adverts falling over. Yet the sign never got moved. I would have 
slung it in the road if it had been me. Some of those falling were not happy 
yet being British...

No, not exactly. She (a young woman BTW) was on her way to work at about 08.15. 
It was lethal. If you didn't hang on to the wall on your way up the slightly 
sloping street to get to the gritted main street you were over in a flash. They 
even had pictures on BBC Look North of others doing the same elsewhere in 
Yorkshire. Did nobody else have this black ice?
