A good question :-) I was actually referring to Chirk not Pontywotsit (which is not at all slow due to the channel running under the towpath, but is good for photos if you remember to jump off on the correct side and not to push anyone else in as you walk backwards along the towpath taking said photos ;-) ) I did hear a rumour last year that H&S suggested that a rail should be put in on the offside of Pontcysyllte. Does anyone know if there was any truth to this? Sheer vandalism if so. Steve NB Bream
